Christmas Concert – Hope, Love, Live

At last….. Town Hall Gospel Choir (THGC) is back!!!!!!

Come and join us for a time of celebration, fun and uplifting songs.

Last year, our concert with the theme of ‘Hope, Love, Live’ was postponed due to Covid. During that time, many of our families, friends and neighbours experienced extreme difficulties and unexpected challenges, including the loss of loved ones and significant changes in family life and health. We are now excited and grateful to be able to return to the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire for our Christmas concert and share with you our message of ‘Hope, Love, Live’.

THGC is a community choir made up of people from all walks of life from across Birmingham who love to sing. We have a unique and captivating gospel musical style that not only touches the soul but compels the hands and feet to move in time with the rhythm of the words and the beat of the songs. The joy of singing has been an inspiring way to encourage and keep choir members connected through many of the difficulties faced in recent years. We know that music has the power to uplift, inspire and bring a sense of hope; healing, so we want to invite all to join us for our long-awaited Christmas concert – ‘Hope, Love, Live’.

This will be a wonderful time of enjoyment where family and friends can come together and participate in soulful and inspirational songs performed by Town Hall Gospel Choir in our exhilarating gospel style, under the charismatic directorship of Colin Anderson. We will also have the privilege of re-connecting with Lichfield Gospel Choir, as both THGC and Lichfield Gospel Choir performed at this year’s Community Spirit events held at the Birmingham Symphony Hall, and at the recent Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham. The additional guest artist will be the amazing vocalist, Monique McKen – BBC Gospel Singer of the Year 2021, and it will be hosted by Birmingham’s own Annette B, singer/songwriter/producer.

Town Hall Gospel Choir will be returning to the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire on Saturday 17th December 2022, 7pm.
